Flavor: Flavor Blasted Nacho
Boomer is the former mascot of Goldfish products. Being a Flavor Blasted Goldfish, he was initially the mascot of Flavor Blasted Goldfish crackers, then around the time of the 1999 rebrand became the mascot of Goldfish as a whole. The back cover of the 1998 Goldfish Counting Board Book confirms he is a nacho Goldfish. He’s almost always wearing his trademark sunglasses, although the Counting Board Book reveals that his eyes are simply the black dot eyes most Goldfish characters have.
Boomer was featured in plenty of Goldfish advertisements and merchandise, as well as being on the packaging of nearly every Goldfish food product from 1999 to 2005. The Goldfish Mobile was modeled after his likeness. He was also the subject of the 1998 "Catch That Blasted Goldfish!" sweepstakes.
In late 2005/early 2006, Boomer was replaced by Finn, another Goldfish with sunglasses.
